Standard delivery

Standard delivery costs are calculated at checkout and are based on the delivery address and the total weight of the order. Delivery times may vary according to your selected delivery address and availability of your items. Timed and weekend deliveries are not available and a signature will be required.

Delivery costs exclude VAT.

UK Mainland

Delivery across most of the UK mainland costs £7 for all orders up to 25kg in weight and an additional 40p per kg after that.

Scottish Highlands

Delivery in the Scottish Highlands costs £16 for all orders up to 25kg in weight and an additional 70p per kg after that.

 

Retailer delivery

Delivery is free on all orders placed by registered retailers within mainland UK over £75 (including VAT). This is the minimum basket total needed to qualify for retail pricing and free delivery. Orders under this amount will be charged at standard pricing and delivery rates.

Depending on the weight and value of your order, Hargolds will select a postal or carrier delivery. All deliveries will require a signature however order status tracking is not available for items sent by post.

Please note that we do not ship to P.O. boxes and free delivery is only available to business addresses.

International delivery

We are happy to ship to other countries around the world, just contact us to find out about delivery costs.

Changes to your order

Once your order has been prepared for dispatch or has been dispatched, we may be unable to change the delivery address. If you have any questions, please contact us. If you have not yet received your dispatch notification email you may be able to amend your details online via your account.

Delivery to someone else

If you want to send an order to someone else in mainland UK, simply enter their delivery address during checkout.

Problems with a carrier delivery

If you are not at home when the carrier attempts to deliver your order, the carrier will leave a card. You may incur additional costs but you can contact the carrier directly to arrange a new delivery during working hours at a suitable date.

If your order has passed the scheduled delivery date, please contact us and we will investigate with the appropriate carrier and strive to deliver your order as soon as possible.

Problems with a postal delivery

If you are not at home for a postal delivery or your order cannot be delivered, a card with collection details will be left for you. In most cases, you can collect your order from your local sorting office or arrange a redelivery.

If you have not received your order 5 days after dispatch, please contact us.

Damaged or defective orders

If you have received your order and find that it is damaged, please sign for it as damaged and contact us immediately. If you fail to sign for the delivery as damaged or advise us immediately we may be unable to assist you in obtaining a full or partial refund.

In cases where your delivery has been damaged, Hargolds will be in direct contact with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible with little or no inconvenience to you. We will make every effort to contact you and keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and, where appropriate, deliver a replacement.

Please remember that products that are defective on arrival need to be signed for as such and reported to Hargolds immediately.

Cancelling an order

If your order has not yet been dispatched, you can cancel your order from your account. We are not able to cancel orders that have already been dispatched and you may be liable to cover any return charges.
